"As we approach the FOME Annual Conference in December, hosted by Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), I want to recognize the important progress we’ve made. Our working groups and task forces have worked collaboratively to produce valuable outputs that are driving the Alliance forward. 

I’d like to highlight the efforts of the RSM team, who have been deeply involved in both planning this conference and contributing to our initiatives. The dedication of everyone involved has been truly inspiring. 

One of our key achievements this year has been advancing the establishment of FOME as a legal entity in Belgium, a major milestone for the Alliance. We are also making strides in expanding our membership to include prestigious institutions that will further enhance our global reach. 

I look forward to seeing everyone in December in Rotterdam as we share our progress and continue shaping the future of online education."

2024 Mid-Year FOME Conference in Brussels! 

What an incredible experience at the FOME (Future of Management Education) Alliance Mid-Year Conference in Brussels, hosted by Vlerick Business School! 🎉

Last week, we've engaged in transformative discussions on AI, innovative learning technologies, and strategic initiatives for the future of management education. 🌐💡

A special thank you to all the brilliant minds who contributed, shared insights, and collaborated with us. Your dedication and expertise are what make the FOME Alliance truly exceptional.

We also marked a significant transition as Enzo Peruffo wrapped up his tenure as Chair, passing the torch to Steve Muylle from Vlerick Business School.

Exciting times are ahead as we move forward with the implementation of FOME 2.0, fostering greater collaboration and knowledge sharing among our member institutions.

2023 FOME Annual Conference 

2023 FOME Learning Design Innovation Awards! 🏆

Last week, at the annual FOME Conference, we were honored to recognize the brilliant minds and innovative spirits that have revolutionized the landscape of management education through the insendi's Learning Design Innovation Awards.

These awards celebrate not just innovation but the dedication, creativity, and passion of those who are shaping the future of business education.

About the Learning Design Innovation Awards:
"These awards are a celebration of creative and impactful learning design on the insendi platform. We are seeking submissions that demonstrate solid learning sequences which showcase a pedagogical balance to help students achieve the intended learning objectives of the course. These awards hope to recognise intelligent, well-crafted pedagogical designs rather than technology-led solutions."

There were three winners in the gold, silver, and bronze categories, with prizes awarded to each of the final winners.

Third place: ESMT Berlin with their engaging course Dispute Dynamics in Negotiations which makes up part of their online global MBA programme.

Second place: Imperial College Business School their innovative sequence Building Podcasts Using GenAI from the Digital Technologies and Digital Transformation module of their online GMBA programme.

First place: EDHEC Business School with their impressive learning journey How To Embrace the Current AI Hype While Designing Learning Paths for Online Education. This submission impressed voters with its innovative use of CustomGPT constituting a stand-alone problem-based scenario based on an iceberg learning model.

Thank you to all of those who contributed their submissions and all who voted! We had an amazing time at the conference together.
